Join us for the first Danville Village Holiday Market. Multiple locations around town will be celebrating the holiday season – be sure to stop by town hall, Pope Library, Hill Street Businesses, Methodist Church, town green, and 101 Park Street. Tons of great food, drinks, shopping and the sound of our carolers dazzling your ears!

Pope Memorial Library
2pm-4pm
Come see Santa! Santa will be reading a few of his favorite stories while children enjoy hot cocoa and cookies. Fun holiday craft for the kids to do as well. After story time, Santa will hear your Christmas wishes and you can capture the moment with a photo! The children’s room will also be open for coloring and reading.

Santa will read at 2:15pm and 3:15pm, be sure not to miss it!

Story Walk
Any time – story is up now!

Walk from building to building enjoying the story, Cobweb Christmas. Kids and grown-ups can start at the library and walk about town reading each page of the story (the pages are posted in the windows of the library, bank, town hall, Begin Realty, the studios and Mountainview Chiropractic Office.)

Community Building
2pm-4pm

Local Girl Scout Troop, led by Gabby Potts, will be having a sugar cookie decorating party. 2 cookies for a $1, frosting and festive sprinkles included!

Face painter, Denelle Noyes, will be here to brighten those happy faces with the design of your choice!

6pm-8pm
Live music provided by Troy Millette and Dylan Gombas.

Christmas Carol Sing-A-Long. Come and sing some of your favorite holiday tunes with friends and neighbors.

Town Green
2-6pm
We will have a variety of Christmas trees available for purchase. Stop in and grab your tree on the way home. The Class of 2020 will be selling hot chocolate and donuts, come support their fundraising efforts.

4:30pm
Snowman building competition (weather dependent, stay tuned). We will provide some of the snowman basics for decoration but feel free to bring your own and make a creative snowperson, snowanimal or whatever else your creative brain can come up with! We will post the photos on our social media and vote for the best snowperson.
